Jared's Super Smash Brothers Sleepover

These guys stayed up all night playing video games
projected onto the side of our garage...
and then by morning,
had filled every inch of my living room.
Gotta love all those cartoon clad boys!

It's that time of year...

...graduation!

I made this banner for my girlfriend
& her son (one of my son's buddies).
I thought ahead, using photo corners,
so she can easily re-use the banner
for her next child's graduation too.

I  can hardly believe that a year from today,
it'll be MY son's high school graduation!?!

Crafting & Scrapping like crazy...again...

Here's my most recent projects...

Jared's Eagle Scout Binder

 Audra's Girl Scout Memory Box

I made a laminated scrap paper Tote bag with LOTS of embellishments!

and  Our Spring Vacation Scrap Album

Last month was a little crafting of CLOCKS!
(scrap paper modge podged onto wood)
(love buttons)

and a little Birthday Party Gift for Audra's Girlfriend!

Finally, this month's craft with my Good Things
gets me thinking SUMMERTIME!

Our Flood...the saga continues...

Part 1~ was a water pipe, under our home,
leaking & filling the crawl space
(kinda like an unwanted indoor swimming pool)
back in December.
This resulted in VERY limited/intermittent water usage
over
the entire Christmas vacation,
so lovely!
After structural engineer's report,
contractor's estimate,
& insurance's approval
we can finally start on the repairs...
1st up
is the Flood Specialists
who are pumping heated air into our crawl spaces,
drying out the foundation of our home...
We're on day 5 of this
...so far, so good!

My Mother's Day Brunch

Louis made us reservations at Slates....
He's so sweet...
and so were the desserts! :o)

Audra's Activities

One weekend it was attending the Rodeo with Grandma Carole...

And the next, it was performing the National Anthem
for our city's minor league baseball game.

She gave her Power Point Presentation
(on her country, Jamaica)
to her 6th class.

And rounded out her 6 years in Girl Scouting,
with a trip to Build-a-Bear.
(where they built, OWLS? not bears!)

Her Troop's Fun, Final Activity ~ Sweet Endings!
