Okay, I admit that I may have a little PROBLEM....
I seem to be a bit out on control on the baking thing~


These are the cutest little teeny tiny baked doughnuts
...I just couldn't resist buying the pan. 
They are about the size of a half dollar. 
Cute & Yummy


To justify all this baking business, I've just got to say...
Summertime is just around the corner &
 then it's WAY to HOT to turn the oven on in my kitchen.

Jared's Eagle Scout Court of Honor

My mom was a tremendous help...
she came the night before to help with room set up,
she took charge of putting out the food at serving time &
she kept the of the buffet stocked & neat, during the reception.

Preparing for Jared Court of Honor Celebration

Gathering his Scouting memorabilia took over the dining room for a week.
...packaging party favors was a joyful job,
...designing & assembling the programs was one of my crafty creations,
...and baking up some scout symbol cookies 
spread preparations for the party 
into yet another room of the house,

...and every minute of it was all a happy labor of love for my sweet son!

Loving Demo Team Time


Audra's newest extra-curricular activity is Ballroom Dancing.
She'll be doing this year round,
in preparation for the next cotillion season, 
where she'll demonstrate all sorts of dance styles 
and be a junior teacher for etiquette classes.

The Foodnet gets me every time...


Last Night, while I worked on a craft project, 
I viewed another episode of The Best Thing I EVER Ate;
which featured dishes that the chefs described as 
"unexpected" delights.




So this morning, I find myself NEEDING to make this for breakfast.

Eggs Rose~
Toasted Kalamata Olive Bread
Slathered with Artichoke Spread
Topped with a Poached Egg.

Simply Delicious!!!

On A Bit of a Cupcake Binge

This week I made Martha's recipe for Gingerbread cupcakes
with a few changes,
and topped them with Vanilla Bean Butter-cream
(after eating several without any frosting, which is my usual preference).

Last week I tried her Brown Sugar cupcakes
...so sorry, didn't snap a photo, but I can vouch for them!
